Oops I see Cisse is playing in Frome, so Skuse will start.
Without Cisse in front of our back 4 is something Millen will regret.
I love this comment,typical Keefer...
"It's our only home friendly, it's the first time fans will get to see the new home kit in action ".
Don't matter who is playing,it's the kit that counts....
Dont see Carey starting in the middle, it will be Lewin and another, probably Fonts with Carey on the right.
The Cisse situation confuses me, when he doesnt play we get walked through... then again its hard to see how he could accomodate 2 up top if you want to play Cisse/Marv/Skuse or Kilkenny in the middle and use any width.
Does he know something we dont about Cisse, I really rated him as a holdind CM.
'it will be Lewin and another, probably Fonts'
May the Lord help us.
'The Cisse situation confuses me, when he doesnt play we get walked through...'
and we don't have Caulker at CH either.
Millen's brain will take time but he'll realise eventually that Cisse will have to play guarding whichever back 4 we play.

Let's hope it don't take untill may then
I'm not putting my house on us now.
I can see WBA winning at a canter with no Cisse.
Still, maybe thats a good thing, if it means he will play against Ipswich
You cant play a possible strong team withput pitman or cisse??
'I can see WBA winning at a canter'
You may be right but you don't always learn much from a 'friendly'.
However why Cisse isn't at AG today is beyond me.

A 'good thing' as you put it would be to 'bed in' Cisse, in a combination of Skuse,Marv and NK prior to Ipswich.
Still, fingers crossed we get a decent result for confidence at least.
I agree, from what I have seen Cisse is going to be vital to our defensive capabilities this season.
Dont understand why he is not included.
As the WBA game illustrated, I really dont think you can justify playing Scuse in place of Cisse.
Scuse has gone from average CCC to average Div 1 in the past 2 years.
My midfield would be Cisse, Reid and Kilkenny, with Marv as first sub and impact player. This has a ring of quality. Adomah should have a free role, and NM and Steady the front 2 with Brett off the bench as supersub. Of course injuries will dictate, but we are well healed everywhere but defence.
To me, Scuse is not a first teamer. His biggest quality seems to be his versatility, but not first choice
What about retraining Skuse to play at either RB as was done with Bradley Orr? Perhaps even CB both positions he has played in.
