N'Zogbia would have been perfect competition / backup. I agree, I don't see a winger as a priority and especially for £25 million. If it is true, and we have tabled the bid, Levy better be prepared to spend big on a striker too!

Bellamy Ade and RSC will be gone by the start of the season which would leave us with 4 and if Tevez goes then thats 3.

wasnt it the daily fail yesyerday who said that mata is more or less a done deal to arsenal for 13.5 mill..... today we have put in a bid of 25 mill and hope to land him.

yes we do need a back up and out and out winger. the way we play is with pace on the wings... we rely on modric and hudd to use their good passing to get them the ball early.. thats when we are dangerous.

bale is injury prone, lennon is inconsistent. therefore a quality out and out winger replacement is necessary to maintain the way we play when they are not available.

bale will probably be injured within the first month of the season, such is the way he is.

It's hard to believe anyone who posts anything online. I trust Guillem Ballague 100% as he has a proven track record.

The guy who suggest about Mata has strong affiliations with Guillem Ballague and Marca, so it's hard to tell.

Guillem Ballague is one of the better media people but to be honest 99% of them dont really have a clue and are just in the business of selling newspapers, or sensationalising stories on sky sports news and radio.
