I'd rather have the knee than the jerk.

Forest fans appear to suffer from some form of collective cognitive dissonance. Whatever Fawaz does is apparently the best thing for the club.

Appointing SOD: good thing.
Sacking SOD: good thing
Appointing AM: good thing
AM leaving: good thing
Appointing BD: good thing.

Just goes to show you can have too much of a good thing.

Or, more realistically

Appointing SOD: good thing.
Sacking SOD: bad thing
Appointing AM: bad thing (owner having been unduly influenced by recommendations by Alex Furgustosser earlier on in the season)
AM leaving: very good thing
Appointing BD: best thing, under dire circumstances!.

As a manager, Clough.
As a bloke to have a beer with, Clough.

Also, Clough out.

Got to be BD really. Any Derby fan that says otherwise, is very deluded. Which is why I expect them all to say Nigel.

TheLeftPost all I'm going to say is please ask this question again in 18 months time, then I think we'll be able to get more well informed answers from everyone. We are all genuinely excited to see Forest fans so happy though and re-united like one big, happy family.

Billy the manager that single handedly forced Nigel Doughty out of the club, he had invested millions in, Billy turned most fans against ND,

And you lot call him a legend, ND is far more a legend to forest than the poision dwarf will ever be, as you will find out in the next couple of years

Hope so

There's a lot wrong with Billy, but he didn't force ND out the club in any way shape or form. You Derby idiots need to stop making up nonsense.

Billy Davies. No question.

King Billy came to Forest and turned us around in double-quick time.

Also, at the time, Billy's appointment was reminiscent of what happened when Brian Clough joined Forest.
All the sheep had was Derby's 'sentimental' appointment of NLN who, when given money to spend goes out and buys Connor Sammon.

That's why so many sheep are concerned that Billy has come home but only a few admit it.

Is that the Non League Nigel who's team of kids keeps on exceeding expectations and is above you dogs in the league. Are you saying we should replace him with someone who has been unemployed for 2 years and is a known trouble maker?

Come on Shirlock you must be able to work this one out.

posted on 9/2/13

Yes Iwas - the same NLN who could only scrape a home draw against a Forest side at one of their lowest ebbs.

The same NLN whose propensity to mid-table mediocrity should be a major worry for the sheep.

The same NLN who, on the rare occassion he is given money to spend, buys you-know-who.

Meanwhile, we have King Billy with his proven track record. Wouldn't expect any sheep to like him. He's a Red.

Tonto - does this managerial appointment mean that:-

a/ you will answer the questions about the last time you watched Nottingham Forest in a recognised sporting arena?

b/ You may actually now go to watch aforementioned team now that the egotistical, first personae referring, poo stirrer is back?

I think we should be told.
