Manchester is a grim place.
apparently its a poor part of the country
im from manchester. its a shít hole.
Considering half of them support a Manchester club I would have thought it was a favourable opinion.
Especially when most of them claim to go to all of Uniteds home games...

Old trafford has a capacity of 10 million, enough to let a lot of United fans go to matches
cheap and good place with nice lady
like 1 minute 37 seconds away from SKA you cant.
Good place for a night out!
Got it's rough bits, but what big city doesn't?
i was born in a hospital in manchester SKA
I was in London a while ago and got a similar reaction from a silly stuck up cow who was about 2 or 3 levels below my typical level anyway, so i tripped her up later when she walked past. Unfortunately she stumbled into a group of rough looking girls, spilling a couple of their drinks. Next minute shes on the floor getting her hair ripped out and punched by about 3 girls. If I was from London I would probably have done the gentlemanly thing and intervened. Unfortunately i'm a bog dwelling troll from the north; where feeble babies are dashed upon rocks as a sacrifice to the gods, disputes are settled with swords and spears, and foreigners are impaled upon spikes through the ànus as warning to other would-be visitors.
I often introduce myself as Miles Platting - it really impresses - " Oh really , would that be the Plattings of Chalfont St Giles by any chance ? "
Parents moved to London when i was born, and yes there is an attitude to anything past the Watford Gap... but i take it in jest as i think the majority mean it to be a joke,...but in all honesty Londoners ive come across over the years love the North of England..deep down they really do...
How many times have i heard, ''Had a weekend in Manchester, Liverpool, Yorkshire, even Birmingham and it was wicked''
take it as banter, love it really....
Everyone in the north has a chip on their shoulder about us Southerners. We just play on that from time to time
Manchester has the fastest growing population in the country. It must be doing something right.
however, most southerners still think that Mancs are a bunch of northern monkeys.

Ah dear, you guys really do lack any semblance of civility. I understand the frustration you poor souls must feel at having to live anywhere even half as miserable as Manchester but you must also bring yourselves to understand your importance in bringing wealth to the empire and the home counties. People of the north are far more at home in the hardy and honest factories than they are attempting to mingle in with the upper echelons of society so I dare to suggest it is better for you all to stay there. I'm sure have many colourful local traditions which, although they may appear barbaric and uncivilised to gentlemen of the south such as myself, are great fun for those of your ilk.
