"I don't know if Stoke/Staffordshire is considered the midlands, but I heard they've got a big BNP following there"

I'd class it as the midlands, definitely. Think the BNP are worse in some other areas though.

Depends where you go in Birmingham RVP, all of the Midlands have areas that are predominantly populated by Asian people.

Birmingham is full of Pakistanis.

Yeah I've been Alton Towers a few times in the past few years and it's just near Staffordshire, there's alot of mixed shirts there. City, United, Arsenal, Chelsea etc. Nice place

No real split in Derby for a fanbase. Pretty much everyone is a Derby fan and attend the games. Oh, and we all 'hate' Forest!

We're all proud Sheep sh'a'ggers Mex - Few more wins and we could scrape a promotion play-off. Of course, it's better than seeing us a few points of relegation

No Arab, not as many non-whites to whites in Bradford [I was under the impression of that for years, until my friend who lives in Bradford actually told me. It's just a 'loud' community, which makes itself known]

Birmingham accent?! - Thank feck we don't have that. I had an ex-girlfriend who lived in Derby, but whenever she went to Birmingham for more than 4 hours to see her family she picked it up. I use to refuse to see or speak to her for like 2 days until she got rid of it!

My cousin married a girl from Birmingham last year. I barely manage to get through a conversation with her. Well with her speaking so slow and all..

Put it this way, if he lives in India, you surely have to admire his dedication to wummery, what with the time difference.

All of the biggest cities in England have a large Asian community in them. Not only London and Birmingham. Seen a lot of Asians in Manchester too.

thats true, what is the time difference about 5/6 hours?

I thought everyone in the Midlands had a Brummie accent

posted on 11/2/13

I'm not from Brum or the Midlands so I don't have their accent. I don't really have an accent come to think if it, lived all over.

"Leicester is the only city where the ratio is higher in non-white to white."

It isn't, you mean white British, not white. Leicester isn't the only place with that either.
