i'd agree. Sako with a free roam would be excellent.
Boukari would be good down the wing, but we have other options with Siggy or Hunt we could utilise to give him that free role

Yeah, just not sure how capable siggy would be on the left, seemed more than capable on the right though.

Even hunt would be useful at this point, at least we know he will give a damn and fight for the shirt, unlike most of our old guard.

IF YOU PLAY 4-5-1 YOU NEED A STRIKER WHO CAN SCORE. WE DO NOT HAVE ONE. WE HAVE SLOW, LABOURED STRIKERS WHO CANNOT SCORE GOALS. THEY AREN'T TARGET MEN EITHER SO 4-5-1 IS A RIDICULOUS SUGGESTION. 4-4-2 IS EQUALLY AS BAD AS OUR MIDFIELDERS AREN'T FULLY FUNCTIONAL AND ONLY PERFORM ONE JOB EACH, AND TWO IN THE MIDDLE DOESN'T SUFFICE. THE SQUAD IS DIABOLICAL AND WE WILL GET RELEGATED.

An interesting point Tonka, which begs the question. What system did we play against Leeds. I'm all for a 4-4-2 but not with Doyle up front. It has been suggested that we went to a 4-5-1 set very quickly, so maybe someone who went to the game can verify what style we actually played.

This is also reminiscent of our first year in the Premiership, when we switched to a 4-5-1 system around Xmas time. Doyle was up front on his own and although he does play better in that lone role, imo, his form of late is very worrying.

We had all this crap earlier in the season about how fantastic Doyle is.
No doubt he has quality, but there is no way at all he is delivering anywhere near what his price-tag commands, and rarely has.
He needs to be benched and maybe it will give him a kick up the ass, but as is wolves way, we just play the same players, dishing up substandard performances, in the hope that they come good eventually.

Alas, its not the same BIgvraji from before

We started 442 on Saturday but switch after around 15 mins to 451 or possible 4411 with Doumbia behind SEB. I would prefer either Sako or JOH in that role and I thought Doumbia was pretty anonymous and its not his ideal postion. The problem with 442 is that we don't seem to have two strkers who can play together and with 451 SEB is no good holding the ball up or linking with the midfield. Doyle used to be great at this but is totally out of form and doesn't score. Maybe worth trying Siggy in a 451 rather than out of position wide right. Whatever DS changes it can't get any worse.

Awfully quiet on here floyd, some seem lost without the abusive ability.

Checked the other sites, but they really are terrible, molmix and wolvesforum.......fry the brain in minutes.......this one is ok but still not a patch on the 12 yards layout, user friendliness.

I miss the edit function and also the ability to run poll's.
