I wouldn't say it was lack of effort or commitment. Some key players like Morgan, De Laet, Konch and in particular Nugent looked tired. Disappointed to lose because I wanted to see how we'd match up against the likes of Wigan. But, we have the weekend off now and it gives the players an opportunity to freshen up.
Lets quickly move on and concentrate on the main objective
I'm all for moving on - provided that the necessary lessons have first been learned. Nothing I heard Pearson say last night suggested to me that they are being. Although he professed to be disappointed, I suspect that he is unsurprised, and pretty content, to be out of the Cup. I'm certainly not.
