I think it's a opportunity for us to stop the sentances and do our tulking on the putch

Yep you'll probably win. We've improved slightly over the last few weeks but just don't have a cutting edge up front.

If Barnsley take their chances they'll also take the 3 points.

Should be Barnsley's easiest win of recent months - Wolves are hopeless and will go down in bottom place. I thought Barnsley were the better side for much of our lucky win at Molineux and Tuesday evening you will take your rightful place above us in the table.

Not a chance..........wolves will at last show their teeth and raise above the drab performances of late !

Cometh the hour, cometh the snarling....Wolfie type things

Well its a fact that JASON SCOTLAND will score, so we need at least 2 to win.

The country's inform team meet Dean Saunders underachieving Wolves at home and on the back of 7 wins and a draw in our last 8 I can't wait

The kiss of death!
Wolves are bound to win now.

Barnsley to win 2-0

Barnsley will go down if they can't beat us because we are terrible. We lose most weeks.

Not a wum, ok. Wolves will beat Barnsley. Barnsley are the form team playing a team out of form and playing at home, so all the pressure and expectation is on Barnsley. Wolves' winless streak cannot go on much longer. Equally, Barnsley's good run cannot last much longer either. They are at the wrong end of the table for a reason. Wolves will win.

You're. for the chop ....... Barnsley.!

Still have a soft spot for Barnsley, mind. My dad's best mate throughout the late 60's and the 70's was Gary Pierce - was behind the goal when he came up our end and got the biggest ovation imaginable. Spotted my old man straight away, even though there were around 3,000 of us.

Thinking about it, he was partly responsible for the breakdown of my parent's marriage - massive drinking culture in the mid to late 70's and the old man used to come in late (if at all) after hitting the ale with Pierce, Munro and a few others.

Wolves have a habit of ending runs - just saying.

C'mon Reds!

I’ve always wondered why Barnsley are nicknamed the Tykes. Actually when I say “always” I mean “just”.
Can anyone clarify?

It comes from an old ancient proverb based in Merry Hill, seek and thy shall find.

posted on 19/2/13

Does that mean you don't know?

There You Kan't Eat Salad?

Why on earth would I want to do that? Is Merry Hell the only place close to Wolverhampton that you’ve ever heard of?

An “I don’t know” may have been embarrassing but would have sufficed!

I'll have you know I have sampled the finest locations of Wolverhampton including Bilston, which cumilated in a stay at the Grand Brittania Hotel, right in the centre of the town.

There you go Tatts, I didn't know either...

A 'Tyke' is a traditional Yorkshire character: rugged, hardworking and with great pride in their roots. Hence Barnsley have this nickname.
