Yes but.....RVP will win a league title this season.
The question is If we had RVP would we have won a league title this season?
Yes, i also suggest you move on. RVP will win a deserved league title. Arsenal will win feck all. I think RVP will be having the last laugh.
I'm sorry but that is utter nonsense. Rvp has scored bags of goals and is on the way to winning utd the league, while we will be trophyless and battling to scrape 4th yet ur saying wenger will have 'the last laugh'??!?
Ashley Cole hasn't done too badly since leaving...
The question is If we had RVP would we have won a league title this season?
-------------------
NO!!
"Think about it! When has Wenger actually let go a player and he became a success elsewhere?"
Haven't the players that have left won like 60+ trophies between them?
Talk about misnomer.
Wenger did not want to sell RVP.
Anyone suggesting otherwise is moronic.
maybe I should have posted this before the FA cup exit.
Im not saying Wenger will win a trophy, all im saying is the sale of RVP could be better calculated than we realise
which players ghost other than Cashley?Hleb doesnt count, did not play at all.Maybe Henry but those are all players Wenger was willing to sell
"Im not saying Wenger will win a trophy, all im saying is the sale of RVP could be better calculated than we realise"
Wake up mate.

I suggest you just let it go. The RVP was a PR and footballing disaster for Arsenal.
Not only did we sell our best player, our top scorer and our club captain, but we sold him to an English club and a club that used to be a direct rival.
Arsenal fecked up, United profited. End of.
In what way was selling Van Persie a good thing?
If I said that selling Ronaldo gave us the last laugh then I would be ridiculed, and rightfully so.
Van Persie, barring a miracle, is probably going to win the PL, something he wouldn't have done with this Arsenal team. He's also been fit for over two years. Move on.
Don't agree with you.
It would have been better to let him run down his contract. The £22m we got for him has been wasted.
Plus who knows how he would have felt at the end of his contract? He could have signed a 2 year extension. Its obvious after making the move for David Villa, that Arsene is now willing to give extensions longer for over 30 year olds.
I just wait for the day RVP just breaks down and Fergie realises the professor has sold him a dud.
24 million for a 30 year old is good money in my opinion for a player who supposedly wants out
Pure nonsense of an article.
The only way Wenger would have had the last laugh is if Van Persie was sold abroad. Then Wenger would have 24m in his back pocket and never have to face van Persie.
At this moment Wenger's decision has strengthened a direct rival who they could've faced in a possible 6 matches this year.
Even Fergie said he didn't think Arsenal would sell to him.
It was a woeful decision not based on football.
I just wait for the day RVP just breaks down and Fergie realises the professor has sold him a dud.

But RVP has won United the league. A trophy. THE premier trophy of England. It doesn't matter if RVP never plays again, but he has won them something Arsenal have not managed for nearly a decade.
24 million for a 30 year old is good money in my opinion for a player who supposedly wants out

And what's happened to that £24m? In th eback pocket of Kroenke. Yeah really worth it.
"I just wait for the day RVP just breaks down and Fergie realises the professor has sold him a dud."
He's helped him wrestle the title off City and win his 20th, after this season if RVP doesn't play another game he probably won't cry about it.
Fergie cares about winning.
"24 million for a 30 year old is good money in my opinion for a player who supposedly wants out"
Not supposedly, he wanted out.
What good has that £24m done us?
Another load of cash just sitting there doing nothing, can we stack it up in the goal?
Let me put it this way...
...when RVP returns to the Emirates on the 28th April, he could either already be a league winner OR win the title at Arsenal.
Who then would have the last laugh?!
Given he's been fit for over two years now and has played a big part in United winning the title, and perhaps more, I don't see how Van Persie can ever be a dud. His performances this season have been well worth the 24m already.

Ghost!
Well it's kinda obvious. Us gooner should just let it go. RVP has had the last laugh.
Lets face it, united could possibly have won the league without RVP this season.
_________
That is wrong. Without RVP goals United would be 13th in the table.

Arsenal have gone 2,830 days without a trophy. Since then, 25 departed players have won 75 medals...

I do hope the title gets won at the Emirates and Chelsea have to give the guard of honour the next week. Would make my year.
