Nerveswise I hope we finish mid table look at the last 6 seasons, playoffs v Yeovil, automatic promotion on the last day, survival second to last game, playoffs Blackpool, playoffs Swansea, survival second to last game. It's been a rollercoaster. Wouldn't want it any other way, well OK 40 points clear with 13 to play
"I just hope we won’t be looking back at the end of the season, to point the finger at Mr Ecks reign of darkness. The points dropped over those 40 days could well end up being the determining factor. "
Too late! McLeish cost us a lot of points and I'm sure we'd be in a playoff spot right now if SOD had not been sacked. Still, at least we have almost 1/3 of the season left to mount a charge, and hopefully we are looking at the loan market to strengthen for a final push.

The playoffs are a huge possibility. Winnable games coming up against Charlton and Sheff Wed, followed me 2 good home games. It'll be interesting.
With players coming back, we'll get the freshness we need.
Look at Leeds for example. They're calling for their manager to go every week, and they're in with a shout. Even Derby.... well, maybe not.
Charlton will be a test
Huddersfield were tired. Charlton have just won at Leicester and will be a much harder test for the team.
A draw for me would be a good result. A 1-0 would be a fantastic result. A loss is not the end of the world and if that were to happen I still think 8th place would be where we'll finish.
After the month and a bit we endured from Boxing Day to the end of McLeish as a respectable and employable human being, eighth would be a very creditable finish.
Calm down lads one win doesn't make a swallow or something like that.
Excellent victory the other night but currently it's in isolation.
Could be the start of something, maybe not.
Well it was two strong performances on the back of 7 terrible ones so it suggests something is improving. Whether it continues, we'll have to wait and see.
I don't think anyone (or, I don't think most people) are getting overexcited. Most of us have said it's unlikely - but it certainly looks more possible than it did a few days back.
And what's going on with you Derby boys? You're actually behaving.
"I just hope we won’t be looking back at the end of the season, to point the finger at Mr Ecks reign of darkness. The points dropped over those 40 days could well end up being the determining factor. "
The owners are also to blame with this one. Bad decision at the wrong time. The gamble didn't work out.
Just thought I'd throw that grenade in!!
Admin have been round and warned them
They are all depressed about NLN and not wanting loan players
Footnote : Boyd to Hull just confirmed. Should of gone to specsavers if you ask me
"And what's going on with you Derby boys? You're actually behaving. "
I cried myself to sleep the other day when SuperBullShitter deleted my comment and put me on 'ignore'. Another rejection might finish me now I'm a feeble sexagenarian.

You're obviously mellowing in your new found 'old age' OOE.
It actually makes me nervous that they're being so nice. They're so mauve, we don't know what they're planning. They're probably trying to lead us into a false sense of security, and then look to ambush us at the next opportunity, when there's there faintest smell of blood, like a lawless pack of rioting adolescents (again)! Can we get back to slagging each other off please?
I am impressed OOE. I mean, if a vegetarian is someone who survives on little but vegetables, I take my hat off to you becoming a sexagenarian.

It's not that impressive - just means he's stopped sh@ggin sheep and now has it away with various root vegetables.
Come on Forest fans, answer me one question, why do forest fans see BD as almost a god like figure?
When he came to us, Preston fans warned us, he is poison, we didnt listen and we soon got to see the damage he did, behind the scenes, and almost financially crippled us.
He was PART of the reason, forest fans turned against ND (RIP)
So to sum up, he took us up, we cant stand the man
He has only two failed play offs at forest, and you love him.
Why?

A less politically correct definition of someone who survives on vegetables could be 'cannibal'
In all honesty, once you see the real Billy, and what he did to Preston, and then to us, happens to you, you will see it.
ND knew what he was up against with Billy, and quite rightly sacked him. This at the time, upset many forest fans, but us and Preston fans totally saw the reasons why, its so obvious, he is given lots of money, and when he doesn't get any more he blames the board, never himself, and he always does it so public
I am simply baffled, how you are all taken in by the man, that don't forget, no other club would sign

There's no denying BD is an absolute tool, but he is a great manager who manages to get the best out of players time and time again.

Easy way to show how good Billy is.
All you have to do is compare these last 2 games to the two before that.
And i do not just mean with the managers and obviously Billy's passion e.t.c.
If you sat in the stand for the 2 games before billy and the 2 games since he has been back then you would know the effect Billy has had and i don't even mean in regards to the man himself, i could go into detail for those who do not know what i mean but those at the ground should no, there is a complete difference in everything from how the team plays to how much passion is back and that is why Billy is so good, he is the man Nottingham forest has been looking for as he has the persona which truthfully no other manager has been close to as that under BC!
