It's been an even start to proceedings here, with the hosts perhaps shading possession (4) 0-0

That's a big chance. Akpom gets clear of the defence but sees his shot well saved by the legs of Miles (7) 0-0

Yeah but Spurs are much better at this level. I do hope you win though.

GOAL FOR ARSENAL! Akpom gives the visitors the lead, smashing past Miles after good work by Hayden and Gnabry had set him up (10) 1-0

This has been a very good start by Gatting's team. They have been quick to close their opponents down and have moved the ball well (13) 1-0

Akpom seems to have been an absolute bargain so far. He was signed very recently wasn't he?

Promoted to the First Team Squad next year maybe? Along with Gnabry?

Chuba Akpom came through the academy. He is only 17, only just signed pro contract. He has been fast-tracked to the reserves, so every chance he will be fast tracked to the first team squad for pre-season.

It's so nearly two! Gnabry robs the ball and crosses for Akpom, who volleys against the bar. Ansah's rebound is well saved (16) 1-0

Spurs go close but, after a scramble in the area, Fabianski comes out decisively to rob Nunns of the ball (25) 1-0

Goal for Spurs. The home side are level as Fryers' low shot beats Fabianski. It's harsh on Arsenal, who have been the better side (28) 1-1

Penalty for Tottenham. Nunns goes down under Miquel's challenge and this time the referee points to the spot (30) 1-1
