I have to admit that I quite like LIW and generally get on well with him. We have had our differences of opinion in past but never got into a slanging match.
If he does have an issue, it is that he can be a bit dramatic and has a tendancy to take things one step further than is acceptable. And of course, the obvious one.......He's never wrong!!!!!!!!!!

All in all though, I hope the moderation is found in his favour and he is soon back with us, digging his heels into a arguement he has clearly already lost (they're usually the funniest)

Lets be honest here, most Leeds fans wouldnt be too keen on us signing a turkish player....and people always mention that it was a few mindless Galatasaray fans etc etc....but they forget to mention that the Turkish government has protected them and is still to bring them to justice properly, its a corrupt country with plenty of disgusting people living in it, so i cant argue with LIW for that!

If you have read the original thread, I was never really advocating that he be band or was a bad person and some stereotypical racist who goes round looking for trouble etc.

His comments about the Turkish people is racist.

His comment labelling another poster as a paedophile is offensive (and there is more than one that he has levelled that abuse at).

IMO he is a buffoon.

Don`t post on here very often but am a regular reader and in my opinion this site would be a very boring without the likes of L.I.W.
He has strong opinions,yes but unlike some of his critics on here is a real fan who goes to most games and is not afraid to admit when he is wrong.
Some of the posts on here are typical of todays pc culture , if you don`t agree or like someone, call them a racist, pathetic.
This site used to be entertaining and informative now its populated with people like Eric who know naff all about football and seems to think he`s some sort of comedian ,he`s not

Just read that thread, the bloke sounds an absolute nut case, can't believe why anyone would want him back for entertainment.

I have known LIW of old and he has his moments, just as most do, but I can tell you what he is missing most (expecting many insulting comments such as brain etc) and that is PAGs posting to make him wind his neck in when it is needed.
She was the voice of reason, not backing him up out of blind loyalty, but not attacking him because he is LIW either.

Had some times I have agreed with him and some times I haven't but he posts regular enough to make him a part of the board that will be missed in one way or another, even if some don't agree.

Unlike some on here who seem to have only one agenda to talk about (SG being a weird one for a particular poster still over a year after he left the club) at least he generally believed his comments and was 'on topic' even if a little OTT some times.
Some people will gloat about this ban and that makes those people as bad as anyone who is banned IMO, tolerance begins at home and if you can't tolerate and teach then you have no right passing judgement on someone who you don't agree with!

Eric, you are as bad as each other, you could have just blocked him and move on, but you've started threads aimed at him and calling him a Baffoon is maybe deserved, but again, inflating the situation.

Cowardly remarks from some posters on here. The guys banned and cant defend himself or justify anything he stands accused of. Give your head a shake lads, even if your right your now just as bad.

Wakeys opinionated but goes to matches & can be spot on with his predictions, just because he doesnt follow the crowd or support blindly hes bound to ruffle a few feathers. If we all just agreed there would be no need to 'comment create and debate' would there?

I've seen some of the stuff liw has said to him, so i can understand the dislike, but coming out and labeling someone abusive and racist when you make threads about other posters is very hypocritical.

I've had a few run ins with LIW, we've had a few/lot of goes at each other but never bad enough,(well in my mind!)to try and smash each others heads against a brick wall!..(we might have thought about it but to my knowledge we're both still alive and kicking!.....)

I think apart from the "out off town crew", "Grayson", "Becchio", and my all time favorite "Smudger", we've not had to bad a argument, called each other the odd word or three, but I find most of the time he's for Leeds and lets people know it, and if he says anything I disagree with I'll do the same as him, and say what I think!..

Not got a problem with him, but like others, I fall out with them, they fall out with me, gets a bit heated, have our say!..

I'll take everybody on here as I find them, and they take me for what I am, not got a problem with people saying what they want as long as they don't have a problem with any reply's, and all people should worry about is if people are big enough to except what they are saying to each other, because when it gets outside the computer world that's when people should worry!..

But than, if people let it get that far, they shouldn't be here!..

If anything, anybody can be as bad as anyone, anyone can call everyone, all know who are calling who, and all know who they are for or against!..

The argument of people too idiotic to realise that people have more freedom to speak then ever before and as a result can and will be challenged more.

If you bothered to read its not a case of don't agree with what he says therefore lets just call him racist.

It's a sad state of affairs, quite a lot on here have lots to say whether everyone agrees with them or not - however, No-one should want anyone taken off the site.

LIW is a season ticket holder,and has some very good views on LUFC in general.

No matter what you think of LIW, Leeds United is very firmly in his blood , i think admin should reinstate him .
