Parker has not been a legend for us. Don't use these words so disrespectful to actual legends.
Agree he's been good for us but poorer this season.

Dembele and Holtby?
Siggy moved up with Bale and Lennon?
Not sure. Think Parker is in a bit of a slump - not been all that since his injury - but we do need someone to put themselves about abit so probably stick with Scott at the mo.
Parker played well last night. Aside from his clumbsy penalty, he was the only player taking the ball forward, he got stuck in, got his 360s out.
Did well I thought.
You Sandro to replace Parker for next season. Parker would still make a good squad player though, in my opinion.
The Dembele/Parker combo is too slow in the outlet.
If a faster CM playmaker appears, then Parker will still be as effective as he was last season.
AVB needs to read Dembele the riot act re taking the ball forward more often.

Still think Parker is doing ok for us. May not have magical feet but is tough as old boots and will add steel to our midfield.
Suuuuuuper, Super Scott
flashyflibble, maybe legend was a title too far, but he's definately been one of our outstanding players over the last couple of seasons, no doubt about that. Having said all that I would still probably start him Sunday, just for his experience.
parker was shocking first half, fantastic second half
Parker had a good game yesterday. So much more influential than dembele.
parker is what he is...tough tackling....get it,give it type 100% all action player.
gr8 to have around....but ideally you don't want him starting every week...
but 'tis what it is....let him run himself into the ground for 70/75 mins...then hope jake can do a job coming on.....
Just posted on another thread that it looked like they targeted Parker and were waiting for his little turns.
The difference for Parker this year is the lack of Modric. He was always free to take Parker's pass. Not sure Dembele is as good at finding the space.
I think in general we were over critical of our players and perfrmance last night, until we won. There were two teams out tjere and wh made it very difficult for us. Jussy had a blinder aswell. It isnt always about us, yesterday west ham had alot to say about that game.
The man has been a legend for us over the past season or so

a legend? are you sure.
i dont think so.
tbf to the OP...he does say a little further down that was probably OTT.
I think Parker does a lot of the work other players don`t want to do, he works his socks off, and all teams need a Parker in their ranks. OK, he is not getting any younger, but he is still doing his bit for the team.
To many times in the first half palyers were not helping the player with the ball, to much standing still but second half players all wanted the ball

Parker definitely does the jobs others don't want to....
None of them want to perform useless pirouettes
None of them want to take 3 or 4 touches when 1 or 2 will do.
None of them want to look like a 60s Borstal boy.
None of them want to be ponderous on the ball.
"None of them want to look like a 60s Borstal boy."
Nolan and his haircut were obviously not up to it when the "Daddy" returned to Upton Park.
Their other little cretin has a Barnet like it too, the CM (name's gone, made his debut v us in 2005/06)
HRH :
When Scotty is on the pitch, they need to raise their barnet game. Or end up playing at Barnet.
What's the other one's name? Mark Noble!!! Typical little East London urchin. I like him as a player though
