Kanga,

Like I said, we tried to position them in such a way that it did not disrupt the page layouts people are accustomed to.

Admins,

BET365 or the like would definitely consider the opportunity to have live-links on this site during games - depending on traffic figures...

Just a thought. Particularly during Sky games where a lot of the members are streaming, thus not watching their live commercial

People would say they wouldn't use them... but they probably would.

kamp, the way it kinda works is that we need to make sure we deliver over 20 million ads per month to people living in the UK. But those that buy the ads will only do so if the ads are performing. So it is more a case of less clicks = less money.

We have already rejected approaches from a couple of betting companies we didn't feel would benefit the site experience of our members.

So 3 adds per page, you need like 7m pages a month? and you don't actually need a conversion rate from them to make a profit?

Not really sure you have the right demographic for that Michael Parkinson ad

While not directly tied to conversion rates, advertisers need to want to by the space. This will only continue to happen if previous campaigns have been successful, the measure of which goes beyond just clicking on an add (sorry Kanga).
