a DMF must be fast. all the best ones are rapid like Kante and that PSG lad.

CMF doesn't matter as much. cazorla was slow as sh!t yet our best midfielder by far

Yes. But Torreira has better positioning sense which helps him a lot to be in the right place to make the tackle before he gets out paced. Xhaka on the other hand is a yellow card magnet.

in fact the opposite. Gilberto was dead slow after he cracked his back. But his positional sense was immense. But if you can't position you are always chasing the ball and in trouble even if you have pace. Remember Coquelin? Always on the recovery tackle because he was dozey.

nah m8. just cause he was white doesn't make him slow. He was fast and had a low centre of gravity. When I call ppl fast I am not comparing them to Bolt. You need sharp movement over 5 yards to escape tackles and dribble with the ball at a reasonable pace to get away from defenders. Walcott was tremendously fast over 60m but he was not as sharp as Limpar.

If it was up to j99, all our players would be BB&F

nah. there's been nothing about it recently. arteta said he needed to have further scans to determine the severity of it. but there's been no updates since he said that. nothing on social media either.

Think it was a hip injury. Not sure if it was just a dead leg or something more serious. imo no news is good news.
