I think more than anything Arteta's role in it was very important. Its obvious he wants to change from how Arsenal operated in the past. To move from a technically oriented, moneyball first, to a more strong culture, ethos based club like Barcelona. Not sure how those who refused will fit in with Arteta in the future. If at all.

Yes he was. We were unbeaten when he played. Emery's best stint at the club.
