Obviously, it ended up being the right decision in the end for him considering what he won at Chelsea, but I don't feel like he's being entirely honest here.

It's fairly common knowledge that Cole didn't want to renew his contract at Arsenal because he felt we weren't giving him what he was worth. I'm not saying he was wrong to leave because of this, but I just wish he could be honest and say that money was the primary factor - which it was.

Ashley Cole even said in his book that he nearly swerved his car off the road when were his agent was on the phone to him telling him Arsenal were going to offer him £55,000 a week and not £60,000. Ultimately we really should have sorted his contract out properly but if he loved the club he would have stayed. It was a transfer I often look back on with such deep regret and always think "If only"

I refuse to do home office and have to cut my working hours. Some of my colleagues working from home and/or doing "Kurzarbeit".
