Even if Arsenal were to go bust, the club would survive in some form or other, so I'm not worried about no longer having a club to support. Just don't think it's gonna be as simple as how you see it, J99 - though I have to agree slightly in that I can't see KSE moving the club on just to get it off the books - even IF they are struggling with losses stacking up against their other sports franchises (and retail businesses) - and they would want full whack for AFC were they to contemplate selling.

Both AST and Swiss Ramble in past have inferred that KSE are leveraging Arsenal's healthy position for their other businesses. And now suddenly we are kaput? I don't think either party is particularly knowledgeable on finance. Arsenal can and must have borrowed from the Covid business interruption loan scheme. That scheme gives an interest free loan for a year. Even the most pessimistic virologist is sure of a vaccine by then. And unlike other businesses football TV money makes up a substantial amount of the revenue for the premier league. Which is why I always expected the league to be started behind closed doors. If anything I think KSE other ventures will aide us. Irrespective of the dangers and risk the US is gung ho about opening and the revenue is shared in their leagues.

Seriously though if you want someone owning Arsenal who has made money from exploiting Nigerian resources and funding god knows what then you need you head examined.

Actually I made a general statement and how business is done in Nigeria.
Just google sugarcane and farming in Nigeria. How small farmers are pushed off the land and who you'd have to do business with in the north part bordering the mahgreb.
However lets just take this line "Let me tell you this and I want to really emphasise it ... nothing is going to help Nigeria like Nigerians bringing back their money. If you give me $5 billion today, I will invest everything here in Nigeria."
And how it fits with buying a football club for £2Bn in London.
