I was born in '95 you melon
Reminiscing over these moments still makes our current reality difficult to accept
So you remember it well then 😂
Tbh you simply don't win the League with some of the first XI players we currently have.
Do we win the league with any of them?

How about we first start finishing in the top 4 again.

Auba.
Considering we won leagues with the likes of Christopher Wreh, Luis Boa Morte, Pascal Cygan, Franny Jeffers, Oleg Luzhny and Richard Wright, it is hard to say we couldn't win the league with any of them
Did Aliadière get an invincible medal or he didn't make enough appareances?
I think if you could put 3, maybe 4 really top class players in the current team, we have some players that would then be good enough to be 7/10 each week, and that might be good enough to win the league.
A top CB paired with Luiz, maybe Mari would be good enough.
A top CM/DM in tandem with Ceballos, or maybe Torreira would just about be good enough.
A top wide right player might help bring Ozil back to some sort of form.
But this all sounds a bit scratchy...

Aliadière would start most matches for us currently.
Sanogo >>> Aladière.
DJ would agree with me.
No way. Aliadière was dece. He just didn't score enough, and was up against much better forwards than Sanogo ever was at Arsenal.
Aliadiere played 10 times, so would have got a medal.
Aliadiere had a lot of quality, not enough heart by the sounds of his recent comments. He was a bit scared in training because of all the fights and tough tackling.
Aliadiere, has only one season of scoring more than 10 goals in his entire career, incl lower leagues. Think he belongs in a group of players like Denilson etc. No one rated them ever apart from Arsenal fans.
His all-round game was good though. Would've been a better bet than Jeffers...
Never liked the Evertonian. But you can at least excuse his lack of development on injuries. We've never really produced top quality youth strikers in recent years. Think you have to go back Kevin Campbell and Andy Cole. And you could argue that Cole only really pushed on after leaving Arsenal.
I have great hopes for Nketiah. Think he already offers more than Lacazette.
Ornstein saying Spurs are projecting a £200m loss this year and have borrowed £175m from the B of E to ease financial pressure. The interest on the loan is 0.5%.
But we're the Bank of England club
Disgusting
I'm so not looking forward to the season starting back
Not surprised regards Spurs. This could not have come at a worse time for them tbh.
At least we've restructured our loan a couple of times now. Not to mention our debt is far less than theirs.
Just as well for them they don't have as high a wage bill as we do, otherwise...
