Not surprised regards Spurs. This could not have come at a worse time for them tbh.

At least we've restructured our loan a couple of times now. Not to mention our debt is far less than theirs.

Just as well for them they don't have as high a wage bill as we do, otherwise...

Didn't we finish Emirates just before the last recession?

This one will be a lot worse, we got so criticized how we did things during that time I wonder how they will do.

Wondering how much they were banking on the NFL games. I think the stadium sponsorship was linked to that as well.

I'm so not looking forward to the season starting back

How come, buddy?

The way we came out of the Euros just so annoyed me, it was actually nice to forget how crap this season was/is.

And our first game back is Man city
Nothing to look forward to..

Plenty to look forward to, I think.

But I'm viewing the rest of this season more as a really long pre-season for next season for Mikel. Anything beyond that that we get out of it will be a bonus.

Ornstein saying Spurs are projecting a £200m loss this year and have borrowed £175m from the B of E to ease financial pressure. The interest on the loan is 0.5%.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Thats a high interest rate compared to other the loans they are giving.

Mourinho to start his antics sooner so that he can be sacked? No point of him being at helm of a club in financial trouble.

It keeps people who voted for him happy, at least in the short term.
It keeps people who financed him happy (and very rich) in the long term

Its a start of slowly selling a soft brexit deal to people. Any free trade deal will have some elements of freedom of movement.

They won't sack him. They can't afford a new manager and still pay wages to Mourinho.

When you take money from the government you make all creditors sit up and take notice. It means they won't get any chance of recovering their money on default. The government is always the first creditor. This is why large companies don't take money from the government unless the alternative is bankruptcy. No bank will now lend them a penny.

Does the rule still apply that you get relegated if you are insolvent?

They might not sack him but it won’t stop him triggering his 3rd years behaviour if he can’t compete, which he won’t because of lack of resources.

Timo Werner from Leipzig to Chelsea is very likely says the BILD Zeitung.

Link?

This going to be your stock response every time someone signs a forward, mate?

posted on 4/6/20

Just getting rid of his destinations one by one. PSG linked and then they sign Icardi. Man Utd linked and they extend Ighalo's loan. Chelsea linked and they want Werner. Barca and Madrid already ruled themselves out.

So I hope he signs an extension. That gives two years for Martinelli and Nketiah to mature. And Balogun to break through. Saves us all a ton of cash. Script writes itself.

Also allows us to use Lacazette as leverage to strengthen other areas.

That all sounds wonderful.

Just wishful thinking.

Going to be a very good signing for Chelsea
