Because CEG isn't top of that facts and hates anything that is not confirmed in the Guardian first.
Loving Starmer tbh but there are some dodgy questions that haven't been answered
Who funded his campaign?
What's he doing with the internal report that suggests sabotage from within?
What's his actual stance on Brexit and is he comfortable pandering to some areas of Labours base that are frankly xenophobic?
You do realise we have left Crouch. We can apply to come back in but it can't be stopped now.

Read my post again. I never said we have the upper hand. I said the EU don't have the upper hand anymore.
Both the UK and the EU are now desperate to get a deal. Neither party can afford a no deal post covid for many different reasons across the EU. Every country is suffering and frankly don't need another manufactured crisis that can be avoided. The EU is not as unified as before. Thats a fact. Thats what I was alluding to.

ECJ's argument with German's supreme court is a very big deal. Its not only because it affects them politically at a time the country is in recession. But because its affects the funding of the EU where access to London has become vital to all. For years countries have used the Germans as their personal piggy bank. Germany is now in recession.

Post covid it is actually easier for the Brexit purists to bend over and deal. People are desperate eg for Nissan to keep their factory open (In a very brexit area). Starmer knows that to.

Why do discussions about the EU & Brexit between CEG and J99 always end up getting personal
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because he has a boner for this kind of jousting
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because CEG isn't top of that facts and hates anything that is not confirmed in the Guardian first.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Do love the guardian
I'm not in top of the facts no but let's be honest you haven't really exposed anything and I'm comfortable with my knowledge on the subject and my opinion based upon it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
ECJ's argument with German's supreme court is a very big deal. Its not only because it affects them politically at a time the country is in recession. But because its affects the funding of the EU where access to London has become vital to all. For years countries have used the Germans as their personal piggy bank. Germany is now in recession.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yup we are in recession. So are the whole world.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you understand that in a recession you cannot be intransigent to a deal? And the biggest obstruction to a deal has always been different requirements by different countries that make up the EU?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not Germany blocking the deal man 😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Correct they want a deal. And now Germany wield a much bigger stick to whack those who are blocking over the head to agree.
