Yes why not. I trust him more to concentrate for 90 min than Mustafi.

Our chances are slim. They were also slim against Liverpool. Let's see how it pans out. We can't have another game where we were pressed and hardly came out of our half.

He is a free agent and if really we are thinking about shifting some of our current crap CBs, then he'd be perfect for us. Not elite from what I could read but probably better than Papa and Mustafi.
Plus, despite being free agent, he won't ask for ridiculous wages.

I am not a Arteta hater. Just have higher expectation from him thats all. We'll see next season if he intends to play attacking football.

Mathematically, yes but that would mean lots of the teams above us have a shocking end of season and drop more points at this stage than they have up to now.

So..... very unlikely.

Yeah, this really surprises me. His contract didn't run out until 2023 anyway though, so his value was already protected. I wonder how long it is now. 2024/2025?
