I don't mind Liverpool to be honest. They are the lesser of the evils compared to Spurs, Man U, Chelsea and Man City.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think I'd like them if it wasn't for most of their fans on here
Liverpool play an excellent brand of football. Their rise is something we are looking to emulate. Hope they win the league.
United have a PE teacher as manager. No chance they'll win the league. Eventually they'll falter.
Spurs are anti-football with the Portuguese Allardyce as manager. This world needs to end if they get seriously close to winning the league.

Rather quiet here. Thought there would be greater activity after the squeezed out result against Brighton.
‘Squeezed out’ is a little harsh I’d say. Should’ve won by a greater margin I thought, but you could tell confidence was still frail in the first half.
Cannot wait to see Partey back. Chances he’ll be ready to start Saturday? Should we even be resting him longer?
Feel a bit torn on that one tbh.

Should have Partey back on the bench.
Auba needs to be eased in. Arteta again showing his desperation by throwing him back into first team action. Hopefully now he'll feel less pressured into starting Auba, Martinelli and saka

Without any pressure. Could have begun with Laca or Martinelli instead of an unfit Auba.
More interesting will be the handling of both Willian and Luiz.
Lacazette had a back twinge apparently. Arteta didn’t want to risk starting him.
Seems he’s learning lessons.
Coutinho out for 4 months. Torn meniscus. Unlucky Snooker
Fitness willing I would go with pretty much the same team for WBA, then mass changes for the Newcastle game, giving most a 2 week break.

okay then it's understandable.
Bit amateur of Barca to diagnose this before we announce his (loan) signing.
Fully expect this to go through now though.
WBA team selection is, again, an interesting one. If Arteta can win that game it's 9 points out of 9 during the xmas period, and he's saved his job, from any immediate threat.
Agree with DJ, I'd go for the same team. Martinelli, Saka and ESR will be tired but youthful exuberance should carry them through.
Saka hopefully not injured that is.
Saka, rightfully, getting all the plaudits, but the impact Gabi and Emile have had to this side is immense. Can't really afford to have these three miss out on the important games
Would like to see more of AMN if I am honest. He deserves it.
Barcelona will not loan out Puig and will extend his contract until June 2023
