Its a bit unfair on Gabriel. Its his first season and you can't expect someone so you ng to organise Holding.

I think Mari is more vocal. And that helps Holding.

Gabriel/Luiz may make a better partnership for the same reason.

I mean it was due to be reviewed today and timeline has been extended (although I don't know when the next review date will be)

Not sure tbh. Neither Holding nor Mari have much pace which might’ve contributed to our tentative start last night.

Having said that, they looked pretty solid in the 2nd when we were way more progressive.

Nope. We have the 5th best defense in the league

We're 13th (15th at worst)

Our issues were never at defense. It was ball retention, lack of movement upfront and a midfielder finding space between midfield and defence

I don't think Mari or Holding are Mert type slow. And if you are positionally organised it makes up for a lot.
