White played for 20mins I think.

Its not just abt white though. I was very hopeful with the second half against rangers. just wondered if that was a plan that has been progressed or just a fluke of 2 midfield players combining really well.

Holding and luiz played a lot of minutes last season, you can't play a high line with either of those

That doesn't mean well push the line up this season, but it made sense to keep a deep block after ostracising saliba

Can’t comment really. Only preseason I’ve seen were bits n bobs of the Watford game, and the last 30 mins yesterday.

My biggest takeaways so far:

Tbh Odegaard was really disappointing for all the hype surrounding him. I am not surprised they want to sell now that Carlo has had the opportunity to assess him.

Bruno Guimaraes has been compared de bruyne in the past but i think he is a cheaper version of camavinga. (box to box)

I expect we will get a much bigger bang for our buck this season which is why we may have chance.

The madness signing will be Maddison

Lautaro will probably have a pick of Europe’s elite if he waits another year

Bruno Guimaraes had a really good start at Lyon and put some decent performances.
But Lyon's season turned sour very quicky. Not sure if he was part of the problem or just a victim of it.

Starting the season with Xhaka and Elneny in midfield is a genuinely depressing prospect.
