NEW: Aubameyang has made a huge financial sacrifice to join #FCB [via

One thing which maybe has gone unnoticed, it's the willingness to leave from the players. We had deadwood in the past which was difficult to bin. Not this time around though.

I am curious to know what Auba has done to the extent where there's no way of redeeming himself at Arsenal.

I know he has been shiiit since the Aston Villa game, but he's still by far our best finisher and striker.

I wouldn't care about him leaving if we were gonna replace him, but evidently we aren't, so surely it'd be better if Arteta could have patched things up with him and made it work.

Nketiah and Lacazette ffs. Arguably the worst striking options in the entire division.

We've basically released them rather than sold. Auba is interesting though if he has really taken a massive pay cut to join Barca.

Some people on here were adamant he'd being willing to go to the Saudi league ffs

Broke the rules a few times, individually nothing crazy, just get the sense that he was coasting and probably didnt respect Arteta

If what Auba did was so terrible I’m pretty sure we would know by now.

Titler is probably too embarrassed to ever say what happened because it’s led to Auba leaving.

None of the young players who have come through the squad seem to have been negatively influenced by Auba and everyone seems to like him 🤷‍♂️

Auba, Ozil, AMN, Saliba, Gwen, Emi, Balogun

All victims of titler forced out because he didn’t like them personally

Agree, but since we aren't bringing a striker in, I'd rather roll the dice with Auba and see if we can play him into form, rather than rely on Nketiah and Lacazette.

Fabrizio Romano

Álvaro Morata has decided to stay at Juventus until the end of the season. No Arsenal, no Tottenham, no Barça move on #DeadlineDay. Flag of Spain #Juventus

Allegri wants him to stay and play alongside Dusan Vlahović. Álvaro se queda.

Arteta is racist. Since he’s come the likes of Saliba, AMN, Kolasinac, Ozil, Nelson, Willock, Willian have been given the boot.

Auba, Pepe frozen out

Yeah definitely rather than Nketiah. Lacazette is doing better as the focal CF. Martinelli has taken Auba's place really in the current set up and has so far been an improvement.

All that said we are now just incredibly thin on numbers so it's super risky

I see Nelson is lighting up the Dutch league. 1 assist and 0 goals in 13 matches .
