forgot its been a year since he left Spain. Atletico Mineiro sounds familiar. Who else did we sign from there.

TBh, i dunno if he still is in shape for the PL. Looked fairly ragged last time he was here and he's gone downhill a lot. Plus getting rid of a "troublemaker" striker in good-ish shape and replacing him with a troublemaker striker in awful shape is not a good look.

I think we'll just have to find a solution with what we've got. TBH, wouldn't mind a False number 9, ESR or Martinelli up front. Lacazette has plenty of work rate but little quality.

And I am sure it would concentrate Lacazette if nothing else. Laca is trying to get a new contract like Deigo Costa so if he feared losing playing time?

Yeah, I was on about Arteta trying Pepe in a similar role to Jota a year ago. But Arteta seems to be a bit of a stickler with positions.
