Jakub played a full season at DM too apparently. Maybe this is why we let Danilo go.
The heatmap for his International performances are very interesting and identical to Zinchenko. A little more defensive mind you but his ability to cover that space behind Xhaka is key.

Not sure about that. A lot of reliable sources are saying that our interest in Declan Rice is genuine and quite far progressed. It sort of explains why the clubs who were previously interested in him are not linked as strongly now.
Maybe Jakub plays this half season covering partey, holding leaves and he becomes CB depth.
Holding is right footed and Arteta considers him one of those leaders in the dressing room. Which is why I was a little surprised and was initially concerned over Saliba.
But the heatmaps on sofascore explains it quite well. He is very close in style to Lisandro and Zinchenko.
So many options now. Arteta wants the europa
Still need an attacking CM imo. Xhaka's assists and goals have dried up after the world cup and that attacking CM is crucial against teams that defend deep. Which is going to pretty much everyone we face now.
Can ESR press and cover ground? Always thought his style was similar to Merson. I have never seen him play that transition role from MF to Attack?

Yeah, did it very well for Huddersfield in his loan. That role suits him more than left wing (or striker)
ESR will become a #8 eventually. Kid needs to take care of his fitness though.

It would be good experiment in the Europa.
Xhaka (CM more defensive) <-> Zinchenko (LB to CM more attacking)
ESR (CM more attacking) <-> Jakub (LB to DCM more defensive)
Go for kulusevski in the summer if he doesn't sign for spurs
Not for me. Saka has the potential to be the best attacking player in the premier league. I've never seen a player with a higher football IQ than him at such a young age. Arsenal need to make him the poster boy for the club because he Arsenal through and through.
We have plenty of options of cover with Jesus/Trossard in the future. Trossard is contracted to 2027.

Just saw we are signing some Polish guy in defence. Don’t know anything about him but hopefully he is better than Holding.

Are they worried by Saliba's contract or is he a replacement for Holding?

Don’t you mean Gabriel replacement?

Neither I think he is a replacement for Tierney.
