I don't like the criticism Lokonga gets. Yeh, he had a poor game and is probably not the player Arteta thought he might turn out to be, but there's no need to go OTT on him. He knows he had a poor game and he's probably questioning his own abilities, but that's the point the fans need to back a player. Of course there is going to be a drop in quality if Lokonga had to replace Partey. People forget that Lokonga, Vieira, Holding are players who havent played games and you could see it. Lokonga wasnt as bad as people making out.

Xhaka didn't close down Alvarez for the shot and Saliba didn't close down Ake quickly enough for his shot.

Still don't understand what Sambi could have done to stop the goal. Sambi was further away from Ake than Saliba.

Not sure why Arsenal being linked to players like Elye Wahi rather than bringing back Balogun.

We need more up front. Even if we play Trossard in the no.9 role we are then only a injury away from being light on wide players.

Look at the goal. Alvarez was on KT side and had Xhaka in front of him. Xhaka was slow to close him down. You could accuse KT for not being in that space. But its on the other side of where Partey/Sambi were set to occupy.

At most you can accuse him of not reacting to Ake cutting in. But in that position Saliba was closer and should have moved faster to close him down because he was not marking anyone.

I am ambivalent on Sambi because it is obvious he needs to develop. But to blame him for yesterday is silly.

Whats a Sambisexual? Roy and Wright were trying their best to be supportive of Arsenal yesterday so blamed a bloke they knew will be gone soon. Those who don't watch Arsenal much just went with it.
