Most of those players who are not putting in an effort for him are still going to be there.

Keita has never been good. Henderson runs around a lot, but needs quality alongside him. Thiago is an injury-prone mess who has always been over-rated, and Fabinho is a half decent DM.

Fabinho was excellent in his prime. Klopp + inhaler abuse has aged him faster

But their belief is definitely gone, it is a loss of confidence more than a lack of effort. Salahs head has gone since he lost the competition of Mane and he got a big pay day.

They did pretty good last year. Came up short but you can't deny the effort. To drop that far that quickly is worse problem than a couple of players. Either you do a complete rebuild which Liverpool cannot afford or change the manager and there are very few better than Klopp. Similar thing happened to Wenger when he finally dropped out the top 4.
