Eddie Nketiah is a 24 year old England International good enough to score premier league goals.

How is he not worth £30m+?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He's had one international cap and has 19 league goals in 116 league appearances. He's never scored more than 5 league goals in a season. Obviously a lot of those are not starts, so there's context to it, but the fact he made his debut here in 2017 and still cannot break into the first team 7 years on?

No-one is offering over £30m for him.

Think the constant fouling is a greater risk to Saka than burnout
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Both of them combined I would say, bit of a Wilshere effect. He's built of stronger stuff than Jack for sure though

He hasn't scored more than 5 goals because he hasn't really been given a chance.

Palace knew our valuation when they enquired for his services so I think you severly underestimating his worth.

Palace are asking £60m for Olise. I think there is a deal to be done tbh.

I am not sure ESR is for sale anyway. It's very difficult to find player that play his position, and we need to fill homgrown requirement.

Nelson and Eddie are for sale.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I would hope ESR stays ahead of Nketiah and Nelson. Wouldnt want to stand in his way if he wants to go though, not sure its the right club and time for him at Arsenal this season or next.

Wilshere had a genetic problem with his ankles and he couldn't get out of the way of those challenges. Saka can.

I really like ESR's style as a player and thought he had a huge role to play after his excellent 2021-22 season. But injuries and him falling out of favour this badly makes me believe he doesn't have a future here. His last start was against Luton Town. He had a small cameo against Villa too, but apart from that, Arteta never utilises him.

I just don't see how we keep him beyond the Summer unless no-one offers a fee we find acceptable and are forced to keep him.

You think they are willing to part ways with one of the most exciting young wingers in Europe for an out of favour striker at Arsenal who doesn't even come off the bench anymore? Come on, J99. You know they're not going to entertain a swap deal like that.

Olise will leave for a larger fee than £60m I'm sure of it. Unless he has a release clause of some sort in his contract.

Arteta never drops Odegaard or Saka. He has built Arsenal around those two so its difficult for their backups. But I think we won't sell for a season precisly because ESR is a season behind and it will be idiocy to sell without being sure what his ceiling is. I think Ethan Nwaneri will be real heir to Odegaard and is a season away imo. But if ESR demands to go then there is nothing we can do but to sell.

Thats what Palace are supposed to be asking. I am sure they would love an auction but I doubt PSR constraints would allow a lot more than that.

So £30m+ reinvested in Eddie is about right.

So if they value Eddie at £30m he will get sold for £15m 🤔

So why are you getting so fret up over a valuation? Thought you hate him? So whatever they get should be a bonus for you.

Pete the curmudgeon says no way. I want to sell him for £10m.

Arsenal shrug.

And both Spurs and West Ham fans say they want to lose to spite arsenal but they don't really have a choice... City will steamroller both even if they're trying 100%

Fans are partly saying it for banter but also to preemptively save face
