Arteta has hinted he wants to keep most of the squad together, so I doubt there will many outs as ppl suggest, unless of course decent offers come in.
I think the only ones I am sure of are Partey, Eddie and Nelson.

Yeah, I've a feeling we will keep ESR.
What are your thoughts about Vieira though?
Not sure it's looking so secure for him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I believe Vieira has been repurposed as a backup to Saka. Like Bernardo Silva

Victor Osimhen:
15 Serie A goals. 3 Assists.
2 UCL goals. 0 Assists.
Kai Havertz:
13 EPL goals. 7 Assists.
1 UCL goal. 0 Assists.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
tbf Italy is still a defending first league. Havertz is also a deeper striker (false 9). But I don't think anyone is expecting Havertz to lose his job. Its why we are linked to younger strikers to replace Eddie imo.

No surprise to anyone.

He’ll have won more trophies in 2 years at United than Arteta has in his career if they win tomorrow. He’s already been in 2 more finals than Arteta. They are obviously getting destroyed tomorrow but point still stands.
Although our improvement under Arteta is obvious, our record in the cups have been pathetic. We really need to win a trophy with this team or risk ending up like that ‘great’ Spurs team who won nothing.
You cannot mix FA or EFL trophies with challenging for the League and Champions League. People have started to add undue importance to them. I suppose because of Man City's dominance. We used to win FA Cups regularly, even in Wenger's down years, to not much credit.
Yeah, Wenger added 3 FA Cups to his CV during the second half of Arsenal reign, and people still say he stayed 10 years too long.
Then again, others point to the amount of League Cups City have won under Pep as being an important stepping block to greater success.
So...

I am not sure about that. Mourinho loved counting trophies to justify his bravado.
Honestly, you can look at it two ways. Pep used it as a way of getting a winning mentality (which completely ignores that Man City were winning leagues before he even got there). Or the squad assembled has been so good and dominating, it's actually very hard to not win the cups even with the rotational players in the early rounds!

Lex on the ropes here 😳
Wouldn't mind the cup ko's if he didn't keep playing first XI players.
One of the points that Wenger was constantly bashed with was inheriting a title wining defence. So why isn't Pep for inheriting a title winning squad?

I think Arteta was actually trying too hard. We went out to West Ham and Liverpool. He probably thought he wanted the new starters to imbed with extra playing time and didn't have faith in the rotational players to get the job done against Premier League oppposition.
