How about Solanke?

Probably not for 65M but I think it's that type of profile we require

Who do people want? Seriously, all I have read on this thread is negative comments on every forward we are linked to. Are you lot satisfied with Jesus/Havertz scoring 15-20? Do you think that will get the job done?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We want anything but more City castoffs. You're suggesting selling one to get another. Reminds me of Only Fools & Horses where Rodney finally shifts those old broken tractor motors (as Del buys them secretly) and then he goes and buys more. Learn our lesson.

There isn't really anyone good available, i prefer getting a winger for now, and we need cover for Odegaard
If City are willing to sell Alvarez, who are they lining up to replace him?

This looks more likely at this stage.
Osimhen - bad attitude and being used in the deal to get Lukaku. Only had one >15 goal season and misses a lot of games. Did help Napoli break their title duck though.
Gyokeres - Rumours say we have moved on from him. Only one top flight season, and that in Portugal.
Toney - Caaant who Arteta hates. And half the squad have "internet beef" with him.
Solanke - One good PL season, flopped at Liverpool. Massive risk at that release fee.
Joao Pedro - Poor goalscoring record (even in Championship) and a penalty merchant. Young though.
Brian Brobbey - Shiiiit.
Julian Alvarez - over expensive, not a main striker and prefers to play behind a front man, City won't sell to us, just played 2 international competitions so probably will be out for a few weeks (plus he was shiiiite).
Plus we have Havertz, who has a great record when played up top, and Jesus, who Arteta seems to love.
Might change if we can sell Nketiah, but if they are really pushing for €35m then he is staying.

Rumour they want Ramsdale so maybe something that can be done there.
Dont think as well that OM pay the €35m we are demanding. They havent pulled out though. If we get 30M + add ons and maybe a sell on clause we should do it.
Eddie leaving mean ultimately we need another striker in.
Read that Spurs are in for Solanke.
Arteta/Edu wouldn't have been so equivocal about rejecting OMs bid unless they already had a couple of more offers in mind.

🔴⚪️ Olympique Marseille are no longer perusing the signing of Eddie Nketiah. Clubs unable to agree on a value for the English striker.
Marseille believed €27m proposal would be accepted, but are now looking elsewhere after it was rejected by Arsenal. They have now turned their attention to the possibility of signing of Yaya Sanogo.

Yaya Sanogo for 40M EUR
We should bring Sanogo back to the carpet.
he never left pal. his legacy will always live on at the carpet
FOR BEING UTTERSHIIITTE
It's the 10th anniversary of his Emirates Cup madness against Benfica.
Joel Campbell could save our season
Sanogo and the big JC ripping through the Portuguese giants was truly a magical occasion
remember when JC had a really good world cup. we got some good offers for him. Wenger decided to keep him. not play him at all then lose all his value. aye
I remember when he scored a 40 yard stunner against Man U for Olympiakos as well.
It seems so hard to sign a decent striker these days. There aren't that many available.
Euro winning captain Morata was available.
