Oh yeah, sometimes I forget they played together lol. In fairness, I'd probably place more of the blame on Wenger, who was manager, than Arteta as a player.

Yeah he was one of my fave Arsenal players, for 18 months he was insane.
Don't really feel any negativity towards how he left, he gave the club a lot and we dicked him around a bit at the end.

Agreeing a lot with T_BAG recently.
I did find it interesting it was the first time since 1988 that we've beaten Spurs away in 3 consecutive games. Shows how difficult an achievement it is. Despite how great we had it under AW at his/our peak, and how mediocre Spurs were, even he couldn't get us this many wins away at their ground.

The only gripe with Kosc was a nonsense with how Bordeaux announced him, wasn't massively awful but a bit disrespectful

Think it shows just how consistent and hard to beat we've become. We were a better team than them for long periods since 1998 but I guess Wenger was always more gung ho so teams would have more opportunity to hang with us.

Saka is on Cesc level for sure. Not sure about Iniesta and shouldnt be mentioned in same sentence as Messi even in a comparison
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Btw Chris did you know that Iniesta never scored 10+ Liga goals in a season in his entire career? Saka is actually very comparable in all his stats. Inieasta was special because of creativity but he could play in any position. He played CM or even DM as well as wide. He was incredibly consistent every game. Saka is already doing that at 23 every game. Its insane.
I remember times when we all were sweating over Theo`s fitness. Sign da ting.
Nothing more to say.

Hmm, not everything is about stats. Dont even know why uou compare the two. Iniesta was a CM/CAM. I remember some.of the CL games including their final vs Man U, Xavi and Iniesta were simply unplayable and untouchable.
If Saka has to aspire to someone, I'd say Rooney or Robben maybe. He's not miles off.
