Fingers crossed Partey has played himself out of the starting XI vs City. No idea what Arteta sees in him, he is nowhere near good enough to be a regular starter for a title challenger.

I am more concerned with Havertz/Jesus partnership. If Arteta is going to persist with 4-4-2 you need one man to go long and the other to drop short. Jesus and Havertz are too similar. I think it's time to try Sterling/Havertz.

He was woeful yesterday and a big concern for the City game.

We can*t handle the ball like this and being so sloppy against City.

Havertz needs to play upfront as Jesus was dreadful on the ball. Havertz is no midfielder. Game showed it again. Better upfront.

Would also try Sterling instead of Martinelli.

One thing Arteta needs to do is try and improve our counterattacking game.

If we are going to park the bus in these big away games, the attacking play has to improve.

It's not sustainable to create 1 or 2 chances a games and hope to keep a clean sheet at the other end

Yeah, I had hoped Partey would play himself back into fitness and sharpness over the last bit of last season, the summer and this season - but he just looks so rusty and facked. I think he just given up maybe.

And yeah agree with the other points - Jesus is so pointless, has a couple of nice turns a game and scores in about 1 in 4 but is nowhere near the level of Havertz up top!

To be fair the only league away games left we will sit deep are against Man City and Liverpool. Of course Chelsea, Newcastle and Man United away are tough games but I don't see us sitting deep in those games and parking the bus.

People are being a bit harsh on Jesus. He was shiiiiit last night, but he is just coming back from injury. Needs a bit of time.
