I compare Saka's style to that of Iniesta to explain how he pauses the game to recycle the ball which English players are not technically used to.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Jack Grealish in particular, plus Foden and Bellingham do that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No they don't. Not at all. Naming a few players from City's team does not mean they do that. And Bellingham is very much an old-fashioned charger from midfield. He is like Yaya Toure if I was to pick out a style. Gundogan is one who slows/speeds up the game. De Bruyne definitely. Its a very unusual gift. Listen to Arteta talk about Saka.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Lol....I'd say Grealish does the particular stuff you're raving about better than Saka - even though he has no end product. Foden is more direct, but it's more a stylistic thing than some technical shortcoming. I don't want to get into your convoluted tactical arguments, but if you like making comparisons between dissimilar players like Saka and Iniesta, not sure why you're wound up that someone compared Palmer to Bergkamp.

Spurs are different class from Brighton really. Simples. Brighton's only chance here is some banter defending from Spurs (which they aren't incapable of).

Watching this Brighton team now makes me even more angry about our red card.

Grealish slows his body down for someone to foul him. Thats not La Pausa. Saka is doing that to allow others to catch up play so that Arsenal can rotate players and build pressure in the final third. He is not buying cheap free kicks This is why that term is used for players who generally play more centrally.

So open. Johnson should have scored.

Err....no, he does the exact same stuff. Exact. Except he has better close control than Saka who is more likely to get caught on the ball. I don't really care to argue about that though and it detracts from my initial puzzlement at you getting indignant about Palmer getting compared to Bergkamp, even though you compare Saka to Iniesta.

Was a big fan of one Adingra lad in Brighton and he's not here. Also noticed no Joao Pedro (the mug who equalized against us and didn't get booked for booting the ball 40 yards up the pitch when we had a throw-in). And their Dutch CB, Van Hecke (whose replacement also got injured). Don't think they have enough depth to replace these guys in their squad.

True that. Brighton have some injuries which cant be replace adequately. We played Brighton in full swing.

Obviously you don't understand the term.

Saka already has 27 key passes. How man does Grealish have, 11? Saka has 3.2 xA this season, whats Grealish 1.3? Saka has 8.1 shot creating actions/90, Grealish has 6.31.

Saka slows the play down and speeds it up for the entire team and then makes passes to others to open up gaps for others.

The only one who does that close to Saka in the premier league is Bruno Fernandes and Odegaard. And they are both doing it from a more central position!
