Wouldn't say Partey has been top class but certainly he is a very useful player, especially as he can do multiple positions and roles.
I think he'll be phased out / benched when Merino and Ode are back to full fitness though, and hopefully stays fit and sharp on the bench

Calafiori is a good addition without doubt.
He needs to learn the PL and the opponents better.
He also needs to improve his defensive work. He is not faultless.

Calafiori is 22 and a fullback/centre back hybrid. He is always going to get beaten by faster wingers one on one. Calafiori is also going to be chasing back out of position a lot because we expect our left back to fill in midfield.

Neither Marseille nor Forest were up for making his loans permanent for €12m so I don't think we could really expect much better. We also got a loan fee for each of his deals so it all adds up.
At Lazio he is doing exactly what he did at Marseille - his defending will always be the big issue.
