It will be the same as always, if a player isn't signing a new contract we either sell to get some value or let it rub down
We're obviously in a stronger position than when we were paying off the stadium but there's now FFP to think about
That's not completely accurate. There was always a question on Stanley's commitment to Arsenal. We delayed too long to offer a contract to RVP. There was a lot of prevaricating as I remember, and that allowed Man Utd to noble him. That's the biggest change to his son, who I think understands the importance of players across all his franchises. Its taken a very long time to rebuild Arsenal and I believe the ownership have a much better grasp of club valuations.
And we really don't have an issue with FFP. I believe our wage/earning ratio is one of the best of all the bigger clubs.
Cesc Fabregas: “I assure you that Palmer cannot get a starting spot at any EPL top 6 except maybe Manchester united and Tottenham. Saka walks in every team on the Universe. For me this debate is irrelevant" Yes sir. Debate closed!
Theo really let himself down.
Man United are a top 6 PL team?
Cesc is getting rave reviews as a coach. Wenger's ex-players have finally started to do well as coaches. Well at least Cesc and Arteta.

In fairness to KSE, at that point we were still in the Cold War era at boardroom level.

They did the same with Alexis/Ozil. Left it too late with Alexis and then over paid Ozil to stay.
Vermaelen wasn’t a dope, a little harsh. A dope was Squillachi, Mustafi, Luiz etc

I was making a general point on Stan not understanding how important it is to keep the best players, in contrast to his son. As long as the club is in an upward trajectory and challenging for trophies, I don't think players really want to move other than money.
Those same reporters were linking Saliba to PSG before we tonked them.
The last bit about ffp was a response to your post.

There was a time when Arsenal could be bullied into moves. I really don't think that will happen again with Josh Kroenke in control.
