There was a lot of prevaricating as I remember, and that allowed Man Utd to noble him. That's the biggest change to his son, who I think understands the importance of players across all his franchises. Its taken a very long time to rebuild Arsenal and I believe the ownership have a much better grasp of club valuations.

And we really don't have an issue with FFP. I believe our wage/earning ratio is one of the best of all the bigger clubs.

I was making a general point on Stan not understanding how important it is to keep the best players, in contrast to his son. As long as the club is in an upward trajectory and challenging for trophies, I don't think players really want to move other than money.

Those same reporters were linking Saliba to PSG before we tonked them.
