Tough to take anything Arteta says seriously when it comes to injuries though tbf. I wonder if Saka is out though he might trust Nwaneri a little more out wide than having to play CM?

The back line is a real mess at the moment

We can't have kiwior in defence on Sunday but we don't have many options left

I wasn't too worried if we had White and Timber to play FB, Cala and Gabi at CB shouldn't be too bad. But might not have three of them now...

Arteta does make some weird choices.

Seems to think Rice is a 8 and Calafiori is a Left back

out of the title race when we lose to Pool this weekend?

Where else is Rice gonna play when Ode and Merino have basically missed the whole season

Arteta on White and Calafiori:
Ben it was my decision to take him out. He had a yellow and we had enough playing 10 men in the last period. With Riccy he had to come off because he felt something. I don’t know the extent of it but it’s not good news.

I don't think Rice is an awful number 8 in the right system cos he can bring a lot to the role, but with the injuries around him I guess people are looking to him to do things he's not great at.

MLS seems to be above Zinchenko in the pecking order now.

Big call to start him on Sunday though.

Can't understand his treatment of Nwaneri

It's like he doesn't want him to play well so fans don't clamour for him to start Vs Liverpool
