We should have won yesterday. Tbh its my fear in the summer coming true. We are over reliant on Saka for goals. Glad Marti scored but Merino/Trossard/Havertz misses were not forgivable in such a big game. As was Gabriel and Partey going to sleep and not charging Neto for their equaliser.

Lukaku would have NETTED those chances

Our next 12 league games before we play City at the Emirates in Feb. We are going to have to win all of them to get back in the race.

Our away form is starting to be a big problem now. Chance creation is at the bare minimum at the moment and a lot of the away games, in particular, will be decided by fine margins where we will drop points.

The team isn't really capable of scoring more than 1 goal so the away games will be 50/50 unless something drastically changes after the international break

Obviously our form needs to improve if we want to go on any sort of winning run. Confidence plays a massive part so this is a good run of fixtures to start building it again. Obviously if we come back, keep playing shiiit and drop more points we will have to revise our targets to just securing top 4 which really isn’t good enough considering the backing Arteta has received. But that hasn’t happened yet so prefer to be optimistic for now and hope things will click after the international break. It kinda has to because we need to beat Sporting if we want to finish top 8 in the CL.

A lot of this will be down to Arteta and whether he is willing to take more risks in games.

I understand him being cautious considering the fixtures we’ve had and the injuries, red cards and suspensions to deal with. He’s definitely been overly cautious in some games and it more often than not hasn’t paid off. I really doubt it’s gonna continue now that we have an almost fully fit squad and a good set of fixtures to come. Just pray that they International break doesn’t feck is for one. Maybe Liverpool get some bad luck during the break, who knows

Same amount as Isak and Solanke, just 1 less than Watkins. While playing in the strange set-up Arteta has used with Odegaard out.

It's the Bournemouth game for me when we went down to 10 and he took of our only outlet in Sterling for a defender, eventhough we had 3 DMs on the pitch at the time.
