Also, when has timber @ right back ever resulted in us winning a game bar the game v forest last season at home?

I seem to remember losing to forest away, drawing v Fulham at home and now today as well as the draw to Liverpool.

Playing Partey at Rb means both our full backs invert and neither advance forward to aid the fullbacks

Arteta just continues to make the same fack ups

We have a defensive injury crisis and the only real other option was to play Tierney - which Arteta won't do cos he hates all Scottish people (as do we all).
So what exactly was he meant to do?

Play MLS. Timber is integral to our attack on thr right side and Partey is best when in MF.

MLS is a kid and is just back from injury.

You would go into meltdown if MLS was in the starting line up today.

Instead we had timber basically in Central MF trying to dictate while Partey is at Rb and Declan rice in that ridiculous 8 position out on the left

Think as well that Arteta's line-up was wrong. We had a LB in Tierney on the bench instead of wasting Partey at RB. Partey wont overlap to help our forward. Timber is wasted on the other side.

Also think that was also on the players and their flat performances as well. Some of our players werent at the required level.

First half was as waste of space. Second half was much better but we couldnt turn it around and were a bit unlucky.

Including Tierney in the discussion for starter is as fruitless as mentioning MLS. Neither will start a PL game for us this season.

Havertz ghosting, his replacement hadnt any impact. Same with Trossard and Martinelli. Our game is based on Saka doing the magic all the time and he almost did again. We really need a plan B on the left attacking side.

Cos we have no-one else. Heaven was on the bench as well.

Then they are pointless. Use the squad and play the players in the right position. If you dont have that from the start there was time enough to change it around.

Our whole game now is becoming way too focused on set pieces. At times, we play for them deliberately.

Like I said, I would take a set piece wins all day but it just isn't sustainable for the whole season.

Yes, they are pointless. That is the point. That is why they didn't come on. They are pointless and bench fillers.

Then replace them in January.

Result we have improved on from last season:
Aston Villa away- +3 points
Fulham away- +1 point

Results we haven't matched from last season:
Brighton home- -2 points
Bournemouth away- - 3 points
Liverpool home- - 2 points

So if we were to match last seasons results for the rest of the season that would put us on 86 points. If we were to improve on Villa home, Spurs home, Fulham home and West Ham home that would put us on 96 points and that would be the title for us
That would mean winning 22 of our last 23 league games with the only dropped points being away to Liverpool.

Yes, it falls on him that he couldn't buy enough defenders to cover the injuries and it falls on him he couldn't sell Tierney.
