Contracted to 2027? Recovery in 2026. I think Arsenal will release him after recovery, writing off a season. I am sure they are insured.

I don't think there was any club interested with the wages he is on. Which is why he kept on talking about going back to Brazil after seeing out his contract. In a way Arsenal have caught a break because his contract is probably insured against injury.

Did speculate that could be a reason for buying the quite useless Merino.

Got excited seeing the Zubimendi interested and then realised it was for the Summer ffs

We may aswell loan Merino back to Sociedad so he can rediscover some form for next season
