No. We don't need another defensive player. One or two forwards and a Cazorla/Rosicky/Wilshere (even Arteta-level) type playmaker, who can play as an 8 to reinvigorate our attack. Or a Diaby type who can really carry the ball. Apart from the goals drying up, our football is an eyesore and we need to seriously reinvest in attack.

WOW!!! How racist. Black people don't stink anymore than white.

One reason for our poor attack is because we don't move the ball from defence to attack quickly enough, allowing opposition players pressing high to get back set into a low block. Zubimendi will no doubt help that. But we still need a striker straight away.

Nope. Our forward line is far too static. We neither run at the opposition defense enough, nor making enough runs off the ball looking to get in behind, our fullbacks aren't getting into dangerous positions to support the attack, and the deeper midfielders aren't arriving late in dangerous positions to get on the end of things. And Odegaard who is the lynchpin of our build-up play is having a shocker.

The issues we have in attack won't be solved by a player like Zubimendi. He's also a homesick Basque mama's boy whose never wanted to leave Bilbao and I don't know how that would affect him.
