Even if rejected, it will still be one game ban. Worth the try

Flamini is on 9 yellow cards. 1 more and he gets a 2 match ban. That means he'll miss the City and Everton games. However, if he gets the booking during the City or Everton game, he'll miss the Wigan FA Cup tie.

Get a yellow now and be done with the bans, or play it ultra safe for at least the City game?

I'd rather him missing the FA cup tie. Surely by then Ramsey will be back.

Yeah would be typical of Wenger to bench our most defensive midfielder for the toughest games, just so that he can play in the less tough fixtures, when really he needed.
