Can't agree more with you. The overreaction on this board is annoying.

If we win the FA cup and end up getting a CL League place I see progression. Facking injuries kept us out in my view of the title.

There's some muggy people that think sacking the manager will make Arsenal become title challengers again.

What a crock of shít. United had an average side managed by a World Class manager, who drew out blood from stone in order to win the side a title last season.

Wenger on the other hand, even at his peak. couldn't win back to back titles and a CL trophy with argubly the greatest PL side. And now his lack of decisive action in the transfer market (TWICE), when he did finally have the money to spend, has cost us the title.

Oh, and GT, don't get sucked into the false sense of security that injuries cost us this season. Every side has major injuries. It's how you deal with it that counts. It took the injury of ONE player, that's just ONE player, to derail our season. You can't even count Ramsey in the equation, because we have more than adequate cover for him. But losing Theo has been terminal for us. Now what kind of League Challenging side is dependent wholly on a single player??

And despite losing Theo for the season, back in the first few weeks of January, Wenger had more than enough time to sort it out. What did he do? Signed a defensive midfielder who still hasn't played a single game for us yet. That isn't unlucky. That is sheer rank bad management.

Wenger won't resign and won't get the sack. That much is clear. But what is also clear from the last 6-7 years, is that he has steadily declined as a top class manager and now is one that is incapable of makign any rational decisions.

God help him if we don't win the FA Cup. Even he should have the decency to resign then.
