The only signing we will be making is that defender for free from Nice.

Well, you'll stay mad for a long long long time then
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't think he will survive next season without winning the prem or cl if we don't buy. Fanbase can accept progress with world class players as an alternative to big titles. But stagnation is unacceptable to everyone.
So if things don't change it will only be a year of rage.
What indication is there that the board would EVER be willing to sack Wenger?

Wenger was ready to walk away with all the abuse he got before we signed Ozil. RVP did that and we didn't have a choice over him because he ran down his contract. Cesc is on another level altogether. Wenger will do the decent thing if it all descends back to that.

So - No risk of the sack.
Why would he spend all that money? If he splashes the cash and fails that's his whole philosophy ruined.
If he keeps penny pinching and wins literally anything it's spun as a success.
Time for another dip in to the Arsenal Miscellany?

Wenger is never proactive. Cesc will move to Chelsea.....and then Wenger will do something.
