Vela would be a typical Wenger signing allthough have to admit that if the rumours are true and he cost only 3M to buy him back it is good business.
But does it make sense to have a player who doesnt like to come back?

Can't believe some people are actually happy we're re-signing him

That's as maybe, Gt, but just re-signing him seems a waste of time for all parties.

If we didn't resign him and he's sold for £20m people would say how we wasted an opportunity

I think Sociedad wants him to stay, pp12. He is better suited to La Liga rather than the PL League

Vela: Better suited to Spanish football, Spain, being a 'big' player in a team with less pressure than England, English football, being a bit-part player in a team with high expectations.
Re-sign him..?
"YEAH, LOW RISK. AND WE CAN STILL SIGN THAT TOP, TOP STRIKER!"
Mugs
Depends pp12. Sociedad have not much money if I read all reports well.

so what do we do, we leave him there, we give them the player?
We need someone like Vela more than we need Cesc at the moment,

Disagree
If Sociedad sell Vela, Arsenal get 50% of any profit.
Less risk to my mind.
