Only by dropping the defence a yard deeper and playing counter attack. Which can now properly work with Alexis, Welbeck and Theo.

As for this, pretty meh.

Per has been decent but took a long time to settle in and only thrived once we started playing a deep, deep line and also had a holding mid 100% of the time.

Think Cahill for a mil less than Mert is a far, far better signing
