EDIT
It’s hardly a crime Herb. Writing in a clause about relegation from this div would have been like writing in a clause about what happens in the event that Godzilla attacked or there was a second coming.
No one thought it possible apart from one visionary to whom we all owe our apologies for doubting him, so no one wrote it into the contracts.
"A prophet is without honour only in his hometown and in his own home."
They had the option of adding a non specific relegation clause originally though. If they had a promotion wage rise clause I'm sure they'd want it applied if we were to get consecutive promotions.
If this was football manager, I'd be all over it.
You can't get promoted from the Premier League though Tam.
They had a clause covering promotion to the Prem. I doubt they have clauses covering promotion to Div2.
You can get promoted from league next year though Deja.
What's the point of being financially stable if you're struggling in relegation zone of the Championship? The review says that "the company's primary aim is to regain Premiership status as quickly as possible". Well it's failed big time then hasn't it?
