He ignored that after about an hour.
If the music industry stopped producing 'talent' like Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, and countless rappers who only talk about how much money they have, I think people might be a little more forgiving towards them.
You can't argue that you're not making enough money, whilst simultaneously paying people millions of dollars a year to release sheite music.
I think Manchester Utd are a good football team.
Hang on, where am I?
I have stopped torrenting music since spotify. I will stop torrenting movies when a Spotify type service is made for movies and tv shows. I know we have Netflix and LoveFilm but both are quite poor at the minute. Hopefully in a year Netflix should be good enough.
People torrent because legally buying movies and music would cost a fortune, most of us do not have a fortune to spend. Spotify is perfect and I think a lot of people have stopped torrenting music thanks to Spotify.
Oh come on Admin1 be a sport. Its a bit slow today and I am sure you won't mind some off topic debate.
Yeah, that is why I haven't deleted it but it isn't getting multi-boarded. We almost never multi-board off topic.
People say that movie piracy etc, is killing the industry. A few people I know will watch things online, and then if the film was decent, they'll go out and buy the blu-ray/dvd so they can watch it again in better quality when they feel like it. They clearly weren't going to buy it in the first place, so I don't see how the industry is actually losing out there.
I can't speak about UK but in my country where a music CD costs anything like 300 bucks and lets say you plan to buy a few it would cost you a fortune. Download it and its free. But does it deprive the artists of genuine income.? Any experts here?
Come on Admin. People love a good debate.

I have no quarlms about downloading music files for songs that I originally bought on Vinyl back in the day. I think I am entitled to them. Why should the musicians get paid again for their creative just because the technology has changed.

In the long term, maybe. More people pirating is less income for the artists, thus a less lucrative idea for the producers. But I don't see how you can justify selling albums for £10-£20 these days when you get around 12 songs or so on it. You can't charge that money for like 40mb worth of music.
Music industry makes me laugh: They believe that those that illegally download music are keeping their money in their pocket. Truth is, they wouldn't have bought it in the first place. If you like a song/movie etc, you'll buy it.
Also, they do have a flip side: If music was only available to those that were actually able to afford it, they wouldn't have their millions upon millions of followers.

You wouldn't steal a car...
Don't tell me what I would and wouldn't do. (might have stolen that joke)
Does anyone remember the old advert at the beginning of DVDs that basically said that stealing a car and torrenting a movie were just as bad as each other
